Here is the list of some of the consequences of your decision to enter into a new relationship with God through Jesus:
  • you have become a a child of God (John 1,12; 2 Corinthians 6,16-18)
  • you have become a new man in Christ; your past life does not matter (2 Corinthians 5,17-18)
  • you have eternal life with God - the life which cannot come to and end (1 John 5,11-13)
  • all of your sins— even the future ones—have been forgiven (Colossians 2,13-14)
  • you have been rescued from the power of Satan, and transferred into the kingdom of Jesus (Colossians 1,13)
  • you have peace with God (Romans 5,1)
    * you have been rescued from the coming wrath of God (1 Thessalonians 1,9-10)
  • not everyone will like changes that take place in your heart and life...(1 Peter 4,3-4)
  • in heaven you have your High Priest who knows everything about your personal problems and is always ready to help in whatever you are going through (Hebrews 4,15-16)
  • you have been baptised (immersed) in the Holy Ghost and filled with Him (1 Corinthians 12,13)
  • your body has become God's sanctuary - the Spirit of Christ lives in you (Romans 8,9-11)
  • you have power to overcome evil inclinations (Galatians 5,16)
    * you have everything you need to live an abundant life and to do God's will (John 10,10; Ephesians 1,3; 2 Peter 1,3)
  • you have a mission to fulfill on earth (1 Peter 2,9; Ephesians 2,8-10)
  • you will never be alone: Jesus will not leave you and here, on earth, you have a big family - the true disciples of Christ (Hebrews 13,5-6; Romans 8,38-39; Mark 10,28-30; 1 Timothy 5,1-2)
